Who are we?

Mucky Mountains Morris are a morris side based around St Helens in Merseyside. Our dances are mainly in the Cotswold and Border traditions. We practise every Thursday night (all that practice, and we still dance like that!), enjoy ourselves immensely, and regularly dance out at local events, pubs, 'Days of Dance' and folk gatherings in the North West and beyond.
See our events list for where we are dancing next, our gallery for some photos, and our non-events list for other stuff.
Performances in 2010
The dancing season is here again, and we're performing at some of our favourite venues and also at some new ones. Please come and watch!
20th Anniverary Season 2009
Mucky Mountains Morris celebrated our 20th anniversary in 2009. We held a special Weekend of Dance on the 8th to 10th May, dancing in Church Square, St Helens, on the Saturday morning, and at Speke Hall in the afternoon. On Sunday lunchtime, we were at the Red Cat, Crank. Our guests were Yorkshire Coast, Singleton, Milltown Cloggies, Argameles and Earl of Stamford.
Amongst other events, we danced at the 20th Anniversary Scarborough Fayre Morris Weekend hosted by Yorkshire Coast Morris, the Earl of Stamford Morris Day of Dance and Singleton Cloggers' 60th Anniversary Weekend of Dance.
